Mosto Cotto Palazzo Centofanti comes from the love of traditions.
The must obtained from pressing organic Montepulciano grapes is boiled in a copper pot over cherry wood fire. The boiling reduction process produces the creamy glaze that gives life to our mosto cotto.
Enchanting, sweet, creamy and fragrant, poured over pecorino and gorgonzola cheeses is a treat for the palate.
Added to vinegar, it makes an excellent ingredient in salad dressings, grilled vegetables and cut of meat.
In confectionery, it is a key ingredient in the preparation of typical Abruzzo desserts.
Delicious is on vanilla or fior di latte ice cream and on "zurbetta," that is, fresh snow and cooked must, a fantastic old-time image!
